My name is David Wood, and I am the Lower Russian River Ombudsman. My job is to provide residents of the lower Russian River area with assistance regarding their Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS, or septic systems). As a non-regulatory, informational resource, I can help with questions about regulations, provide you with confidential information about your septic system and help identify grants and financial assistance opportunities.

Sonoma County Board of Supervisors Meeting | 8:30am, Tuesday, May 22nd | Agenda
At their meeting on May 22nd, 2018, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors provided direction to PRMD staff regarding the revised LAMP (OWTS Manual). The Board directed staff to request a six-month extension to the submission deadline of the LAMP to the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board.
